हरलाखी- प्रखंड क्षेत्र के जिरौल गॉव स्थित जिरौलवाली मैया के मंदिर स्थान में शारदीय नवरात्रि अष्टमी के दिन देवी दुर्गा मां की खोइछा भरने के लिए भक्तों का भीड़ उमड़ पड़ी। पूजा समिति के कार्यकर्ताओं ने भक्तों को लाइन में लगकर बारी – बारी से मां दुर्गा का दर्शन करवातें देखा गया। वहीं पूजा समिति ने भक्तो को मंदिर में शांति से दर्शन करवाते नजर आया। नवरात्रि के पावन पर्व प्रखंड के गॉव गॉव में मनाया जाता है। जिरौलवाली दुर्गा मैया के प्रति भक्तों में है अटूट आस्था मां दुर्गा की शक्ति का बखान करते श्रद्धालु भक्त बतातें है की मां की शक्ति का ही कृपा है दुर्गा पूजा कमेटी के संचालक टी एन झा ने बताया कि नवरात्र के अवसर पर यहां विगत 44 वर्षों से मां जिरौलवाली की पूजा अर्चना की जा रही है। अष्टमी के अवसर पर महिला श्रद्धालुओं की संख्या बढ़ जाती है। महिलाएं माता की खोईंछा भरती है फिर उनसे सुख शांति एवं कल्याण की कामना करती हैं। इसके बाद मेला स्थल पर सजी दुकानों की ओर अपना रुख करती है।
