चक्रवात रेलम पूर्वोत्तर राज्यो में बड़ा कहर ढा रहा है रेलम का असर पूर्वोत्तर के सभी राज्यों में दिख रहा है इस चक्रवर्ती तूफान के चलते मणिपुर नगालैंड मिजोरम असम और मेघालय में भारी तबाही आ गई है इस चक्रवात के कारण मणिपुर के इम्फाल में लोग काफी प्रभावित हुए यहां इंफाल नदी में बाढ़ आ गई है इस पानी उफान पर है और लोगों को काफी परेशानी का सामना करना पड़ रहा है बांध के पानी के कारण निचले इलाकों में बसे घरों में भी पानी घुस गया सुरक्षित रहने के लिए लोगों ने कम्युनिटी हॉल में शरण ली है।

वहीं अधिकारियों का कहना है कि इंफाल में नाम भूल नदी उफान पर है इस तूफान के कारण लगातार बारिश हो रही है इससे 86 जगह पर बंद की हालात बने हुए हैं मणिपुर में तो कई जिले में पानी भर गया है कई लाखों में बाढ़ आ गई है इंफाल में लगातार बारिश हो रही है इसके चलते पश्चिम जिले के खुमान लंपक, नगरम,सगोलबंद, उरीपोक, केसमथोंग के साथ होंगे इलाकों में पानी भर गया है।

वही असम में भी चक्रवती तूफ़ान का कहर देखने को मिल रहा है यहाँ काई नदियों का जलस्तर बढ़ गया है जल स्तर बढ़ने के करण कई जिलों में बाढ़विओ आ गई है और इस बाढ़ के कारण कई लोग प्रभावित हुए हैं अधिकारियों की माने तो बाढ़ से नवांग, हेलाकंदी, कार्वी, आंगलोंग,करीमगंज, कछार, होजाई, गोलाघाट, पश्चिम कर्बी आंगलोंग प्रभावित हुए हैं।
