बिहार – सारण जिला में बुधवार सुबह जमीनी विवाद के कारण पेशे से वकील पिता-पुत्र की हमलावरों ने गोली मारकर हत्या कर दी। पुलिस ने यह जानकारी दी। सारण जिला पुलिस अधीक्षक कार्यालय के अनुसार, मुफ्फसिल थानाक्षेत्र की घोष कॉलोनी में मेथवलिया के रहने वाले रामअयोध्या प्रसाद यादव और उनके पुत्र सुनिल यादव को गोली मारी गयी। उन्होंने बताया कि लंबे अरसे से चले आ रहे जमीनी विवाद के कारण पिता-पुत्र को गोली मारी गयी।

अधिकारी ने बताया कि दोनो घायलों को इलाज के लिए छपरा स्थित सदर अस्पताल में भर्ती कराया गया, जहां उन्होंने दम तोड़ दिया। उन्होंने बताया कि घटना में शामिल अभियुक्तों की गिरफ्तारी और हथियारों की बरामदगी के लिए सदर अनुमंडल पुलिस पदाधिकारी के नेतृत्व में विशेष जांच दल (SIT) का गठन किया गया है।

अधिकारी ने बताया कि एसआईटी ने त्वरित कार्रवाई करते हुये घटना में शामिल दो अभियुक्तों को गिरफ्तार कर लिया। उन्होंने बताया कि गिरफ्तार आरोपियों की पहचान मेथवलिया के रहने वाले काली राय एवं जगदीप राय के रूप में हुई और घटना में शामिल अन्य अभियुक्तों की गिरफ्तारी के लगातार छापामारी की जा रही है। मृतक पिता-पुत्र स्थानीय व्यवहार न्यायालय में वकालत करते थे।
