झांसी :आज उपन्यास सम्राट बाबू वृंदावन लाल वर्मा की जयंती समाजवादी पार्टी के नेता सदस्य इंडो जर्मन टूल रूम लघु एवं सूक्ष्म मंत्रालय भारत सरकार अरविंद वशिष्ठ ने एवं वृंदावन लाल वर्मा जी पोत्र मधुर वर्मा ने मूर्ति पर माल्यार्पण कर श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की!
अरविंद वशिष्ठ ने कहा कि बुंदेलखंड में हिंदी साहित्य जगत में अपना एक विशेष स्थान वृंदावन लाल वर्मा जी का है जिन्होंने हिंदी को विदेशी भाषाओं के ऊपर लाकर खड़ा कर दिया इसीलिए डॉक्टर वृंदावन लाल वर्मा को साहित्य जगत ने उपन्यास सम्राट के नाम से विभूषित किया गया ! उन्होंने ने प्रेमचंद कि सामाजिक परंपराओं को आगे बढ़ाते हुए हिंदी उपन्यास के विकास में महत्वपूर्ण योगदान दिया उन्होंने झांसी की रानी ,मृगनयनी , विराटा की पद्मिनी गढ़कुंडार आदि उपन्यासों की रचना कर इतिहास और समाजवाद के दर्शन कराएं दूसरी तरफ अमरबेल, टूटे कांटे जैसे उपन्यासों के माध्यम से सहकारिता के क्षेत्र में हिंदी उपन्यास मैं एक अनूठा प्रयोग भी उनकी लेखनी में दिखाई देता है हम उनकी जयंती के अवसर पर उन्हें शत-शत नमन करते हैं!
उक्त अवसर पर मोहर सिंह राठौर ,सैयद अली ,प्रभा पाल, मनीषा पांडे ,सैयद अयान अली,हैदर अली, मनीष रायकवार अभिषेक दिक्षित,शादाब खान,लइक खान, सिद्धार्थ गौतम, आदि ने श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित की!
